Owning a DSLR camera takes a lot of skills. DSLR stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex. There are three main factors one must take into consideration when taking a good image. First, you must learn about aperture. Second, you must learn about shutter speed. Third, you must learn about ISO sensitivity. In photography, aperture is the unit of measurement that defines the size of the opening in the lens which can be adjusted in order to control the amount of light reaching the film or digital sensor. The size of the aperture is measured in F- stop. Shutter speed is the time for which shutter is open at a given setting being either high or low. ISO sensitivity is the light sensitivity of the image. The lower the ISO number, the less sensitive it is to the light. However the higher the ISO number, the more sensitive it is to the light. Once you learn how to be skilled in these three departments, one will successfully be able to take higher quality photographs.
